The Padi Rescue Diver Course
The Padi Rescue Diver course will make you a more self reliant diver. It will also enable you to dive with a buddy with confidence. It is a requirement if you wish to become a PADI Divemaster or Instructor.
As a Rescue Diver, you will acquire the skills of self-reliance. You will learn how to correctly care for yourself and your equipment. You will build on your Buddy system relationships learning to work closely as a team.
You will learn to look beyond your own needs to the needs of those around you. You will sharpen your observation skills and learn how to avoid emergencies. You will learn how to be prepared for and respond to emergencies.
This course is hard work. But at the same time enjoyable and rewarding. There's plenty of action as you progress through the course.
What are the prerequisites for the Padi Rescue Diver Course?
- You must be aged 14 or above.
- Either have the PADI Advanced Open Water certification with proof of 20 logged dives.
- You need to have a current first aid CPR certification such as PADI EFR to complete the Rescue Diver course.
